Our client had a breakthrough therapy in clinical trials for anemia. They had established a lead indication, and wanted to evaluate additional indications. They needed to determine what the response of US payers would be to their product profile in a specific form of anemia.

Solution

  • We leveraged our experience in US payer research to identify and approach insightful and informed payer experts among our in-house panel.
  • Building on our expertise in the disease area, we worked with the client to create a dynamic, testable TPP and discussion guide
  • Trained interviewers conducted all interviews and provided quantified responses to the TPP, as well as insights on the disease state and commercial opportunities

Outcome

  • Provided the client with a clear recommendations for the indication based on payer response, and went beyond the project scope to suggest directions for their overall lifecycle strategy
